For just 2.95$/month, Bluehost Basic seems like a good deal but if you actually need all those extra features that are missing here, I suggest getting one of their paid plans instead.

2. Bluehost Plus ($5.45/month)

Best for bloggers who have a budget and want to spend as little as possible. (It’s the cheapest of all Bluehost plans). It has unlimited bandwidth, a free domain name, and email hosting.

This package also provides you with two professionally designed templates and 24/7 technical support. The fact that there are no ads to distract your readers helps you gain more traffic (and loyal readers) which converts into money in your pocket.

If you have a small number of pages on your website, but don’t want to invest much money on it now – then I recommend Bluehost Plus.

This is a decent option if you’re starting out and only have one or two small websites. It has one-click installs, an automatic WordPress install, and 24/7 customer support.

They also offer a free domain name with every website package which can help get your site off to a good start without having to spend any money upfront. However, their extra features are pretty basic and their plans are fairly plain across the board.

If you have more than three sites or do a lot of development work it might be time to upgrade to something else like WP Engine or Flywheel; otherwise, Bluehost Plus could work well enough for you. You can see all of their plans here.

3. Bluehost Choice Plus ($5.45/month)

This package includes 40 GB disk space, unlimited bandwidth, 2 dedicated IP addresses, built-in WordPress blogging software, and 1-click installation.

A domain name and email are also included. Additional storage costs $10 per month while additional domain names cost $12.95 each. This package is sufficient for people who have a moderate number of visitors to their site or who want to host multiple websites on one account.

It should be noted that Bluehost does not offer phone support. This hosting plan offers you unlimited storage and bandwidth. You’ll also have access to Bluehost’s automatic WordPress installation.

Plus a site builder, eCommerce support, and 24/7 phone and chat support. This plan includes all of Bluehost’s core features. If you need additional services (like SSL or a dedicated IP address), it costs $1 per month on top of your subscription fee.

One reason that I like BlueHost Choice Plus hosting plan is that it makes sense. It’s not plain or simple, but it offers everything that most webmasters need, without offering any unnecessary add-ons or overkill in terms of excess capacity or features.

So you can make do with a really solid, basic package and still be happy with all of your space and bandwidth needs — as well as Domain Name System (DNS) records and e-mail accounts — being met.

The only downside to BlueHost Choice Plus hosting is that its pricing model limits you to five domains if you want a reseller account. If you want more than five domains (and most small businesses will), then your price per domain goes up to $10/month.

4. Bluehost Pro ($13.95/month)

The entry-level Bluehost package, which costs $13.95 per month, includes only one free domain name but unlimited bandwidth and disk space.

It’s not a plain hosting package designed to meet your specific needs; instead, it gives you a simple environment with everything you need to get started with a website—just be aware that it might not provide enough resources in some situations.

Standard ($7.95/month) Bluehost’s entry-level hosting service provides unlimited web pages, storage, and bandwidth. It’s ideal for starter blogs or smaller sites that are still in their infancy.

Customers are also entitled to one-click WordPress installation, website backups, and domain name support. This package also includes 500 e-mail accounts, but we should note that spam filtering features aren’t included with these accounts.

If you want a spam filter with your account, you’ll need to add it as an addon ($3/month). As with all of Bluehost's plans, customers can select from a variety of upgrades (for an additional cost) including dedicated IP addresses and enhanced security options.
